Makros was founded in 2011 by Massimo Luise, an expert surveyor of archiving systems. MAKROS was born from the innovative idea of protecting the paper heritage preserved in archives from the risk of fire. A strong point is the technical-scientific committee composed of physicists, biologists, mathematicians, and computer scientists who guide research and development.
